STAIRS

Myangela

Was really tempted to leave out the stairs, a lot of people who do this build have because there just isn't enough room left up-stairs. But, this is a guest house, so, stairs. A little narrow, a little steep, but...

I moved my stairs too. Had them come up in the middle on a horizontal line with the back wall from left wall to middle. Open concept stairs so they felt more spacious. But, I agree, it is small inside and I quit on mine. Just never could figure out something that felt "right".

I know, right! This is a difficult house, nothing really fits, but, it is what it is for the price, I guess. This is the first kit I've tried to put together, and, to tell you the truth, the roof still isn't even attatched yet. Part of the problem is the "tabs" aren't level. None of the tabs are level; ground floor, second floor. I'm not a perfectionist, well, maybe a bit, but, I digress. Going to do the best that I can with this ramshackle Kit, learn what I can, and try to work some magic with it, it surely needs a lot. If I had another prospect waiting in the wings I probably would quietly pack it neatly back in its box. Since that's not the case right now, cozy Bed and Breakfast, duck your head a bit when going up the steep, narrow stairs, though, it's THAT cozy! Thanks, Selkie, I needed to vent!
