Firebox from outside

The fireplace structure seen from the outside, before it was covered with a skin on which to build the chimney. For authenticity, there is a hole in the firebox which will continue up inside the chimney. The chimney is capped so it doesn't let light in, but if you care to peek very, very closely inside the room, just having that hole in the firebox adds a little depth.
