Nice! What's that say on the wall?

I like this look. It's more open and airy. The window in the stairwell could be left there. I have a weird set of stairs in RL where the window goes down behind the staircase. It could make a tad bit of light in the basement access underneath the stairs as well. The front would still be uniform for historic purposes.

LOL... it's my notes as to what piece this is.... it took a bit to identify all the pieces since the schematic on this old kit was ... well... poor to say the least.

Selkie... you're never bossy I love the idea of leaving the window.... it looks funny from the outside.... but I was thinking of reducing the size of the window in the stairwell and keeping it..... you always have great ideas

I agree with Selkie, I like this one for the open feel. This house is going to be simply beautiful when you're done!
