So... I have this super cool fireplace kit with a door and false stairs... had to cut it down to fit in the kitchen... I am itching to use it here... but it really takes up quiet a bit of the kitchen. My Dad came over (and helped me cut a hole in the floor for the stairs in the main portion of the house).... he suggested maybe cutting a hole in the wall and pushing the whole unit outside.... but it looks funny from the outside... I really want to use it.... I will have to think on it.
