Debra from Olde Cape Cod 1,767 Posted December 6, 2014 I bet you could get two more shelves in there... Quote Link to comment
moonberry 836 Posted December 6, 2014 I actually have one extra shelf (it is underneath the bottom layer of paints). There's no safety guard rail, however, so the paints keep on falling off. Hopefully inspiration will strike soon - that's just half of my craft paint stash! Quote Link to comment
jennybee 189 Posted December 6, 2014 You could prob use a dowel rod or if you drill through the holes you could run some twine through and knot each end. Quote Link to comment
nuttiwebgal 777 Posted December 6, 2014 I would look for something like chicken wire....and put it on the front an lay them on their sides I have a paint caddy and when I saw this I saw the do over in my head....no more searching for the right color.....I hope I described it right and a dowel rod inside for them to rest on Quote Link to comment
moonberry 836 Posted December 7, 2014 That sounds interesting. Would they then be removed through the big holes (that become slots) or how else would I get them out? Quote Link to comment
L Swearengin 1,203 Posted December 7, 2014 I like that, you can see them better than the tub mine are in. I am looking for something like a spice rack for mine, but your cart is cool Quote Link to comment
nuttiwebgal 777 Posted December 7, 2014 the bottles would go through the holes and rest on the dowel and the opening hopefully leaving the lid out for you to grab... like a spice rack or hobby paint caddy https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CAcQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sop%3D1%26_nkw%3Dcraft%2Bpaint%2Brack%26_frs%3D1&ei=4deDVMakE9bnoATkroGoAQ&bvm=bv.81449611,d.cGU&psig=AFQjCNFYDYPbKY1qQBhnpxwKKhFRPU4bGg&ust=1418013012264696 looking forward to seeing what you come with Quote Link to comment
moonberry 836 Posted December 7, 2014 Those look amazing. For now, I just put the middle shelf back and stacked all the bottles on top of each other, caps facing out so I can see the colours. it is only 5 rows high, so I can easily remove one if I have to. I just hope they don't fall out when I move the trolley! Quote Link to comment
