Did you do the paper clay in horizontal strips? It looks really great!

I did do it in strips, individual shingles would have been too much, as it was it took 2 days to shingle the damn thing. it's pretty durable once you get some urethane on it, the clay soaks it up nicely. My Glencroft has had a few bumps and doesn't look any worse for wear.
