Stoned the Stairs

I wasn't sure whether I should do the risers on the front steps in stone or not. I finally decided that is was worth it for visual consistency. I suspect that builders would have done the same in a 1:1 build 100 years ago, but now I'm probably over-thinking it.

Actually, I really like how your front steps are done. I'm thinking I may do mine the same way, if you don't mind, that is.

I have to tell you, when I first saw the BH with the stone all over it, I hadn't realized it was on its back and I couldn't figure out why you would so patiently stick those bricks on over the bay window. They all looked like they had sort of flown up there on their own. LOL

But I really like the stone look.

That's funny! I looked at the pic before I posted it and thought someone might think that - and think that I was nuts for doing that. (Not that I'm not nuts . . . but I didn't do that! :) )
