Magnolia Hinges

Finally sanded the recesses for the hinges on the front balcony doors. Then had a nerve-wracking 25 minutes trying to assemble everything with epoxy glue, poking holes to insert the screws and make sure everything is positioned correctly to dry properly. The glue said 30 minutes' working time - ha, they lied! Airconditioning made it dry out much quicker, by the end I had glue all over my fingers, I was in such a hurry to get everything done. A pity the chocolate box holding the wall stable is empty.....

Bet it's empty because those chocolates helped you to do it right? They always make everything better don't they?

Hi Lene, I love what you are doing to these two structures, especially as I am working on the Maggie myself. It is only my second construction as I have little time and do it during the winter months here in Crete as we have very few visitors then. It will be interesting to see how they come out as I have kit-bashed my house and am just restarting on the upper floor. Keep in touch please and add me as a friend if you wish.
