Styrofoam in place

So I have cut the styrofoam pieces and just put them in their slots. Still need a few more pieces to add to the sides of the stairs etc

My friends husband is a special effects guys for the movie industry and he taught me the tecniques they use for achieving rocks in miniature. They take styrofoam and flick acetone on it. I've yet to try it but I saw a medel they made and the look was very realistic with the faux finish.
