Managed to mangle the wiring on the last sconce so tonight I get to learn lamp repair and soldering. Yikes! Cheap fireplace insert (non flickering) doesn't look half bad. Since this house will be donated to a silent auction for charity I didn't invest in the high end flickering unit.

I tried light repair, but once I got it open they had poured resin inside to cover and protect the exact spot I needed to get to. Bummed, since it came from Canada. I broke it more trying to fix it. :/
