Tile pattern

Myangela

While researching slate tile for the look of the stone that I was trying to recreate, I noticed different patterns used more often for natural stone tile vs manufactured tile. The variation of squares and rectangles was so much more interesting than just same size squares. That's what I want! That's what I want to make. Surely I can find, somewhere, a predesigned pattern on the internet.

I feel the same way and that's what has kept me from working on and finishing the exterior of my English Manor house. I couldn't find and interesting repeating pattern, I ended up buying sheets of large faux rock block for walls from HBS, but those need extra help at corners You have a great pattern started right here, you are probably very close to designing a repeating pattern. you can have sections like this that fit into the next section. Its educational and fun to try different applications, to find the ones that work best for each project. I have also worked with 12 inch x 12 in stick back RL tile flooring and cut pieces to fit, you don't need grout.
