In the third floor study/lab I used a left over window from Swift Cottage as frame for a short rail. Like the main staircase rail, I used a piece of the canabalized Christmas tree for the detail and some scrap wood for the post. I finally glued this rail in place.

Yes, now if she could just decide which book! LOL! Kelly, the desk is one of my joys. I got it for a bargain because it was broken. Magnifying glasses and some patient gluing and you can't find the break. I love it.
