The door knob is a scrape book metal embellishment with a small crystal and tiny nail. These embellishments came in a couple of sizes and square with peaked tops like a low pyramid. It's hard to see, but the post at the foot of the stairs is topped with one of the square caps.
The inside knob is exactly the same as the outside. Even though you can't see it, I copied Brae's trick and I even added a painted strike plate to the edge of the door. I need to paint one on the jam.
