There's a trick there, too—I went all around the web looking for *pictures of* newspapers or *pictures of* "newspaper-style scrapbooking paper—you know, the little shots they insert into a sales site, or a picture of someone holding the paper. So they wouldn't look too perfect or crisp-and-clean. Then I took screen shots of those and reproduced them even smaller, cut them all out, washed them in a few different shades of very wet umber acrylic paint to look nasty, crumpled and tore some of them, let them dry naturally so they'd buckle up... and then went to work layering. Took all day, a little stint at a time, but it's pretty cute if I do say so myself. :D
