Living room: Armless armchairs

My daughter and I always do our houses in "now," with a nod to the past. Something like Restoration Hardware's style, or Pottery Barn's. This living room has taken a lot of inspiration from PB, but not those chairs—they're my version of a chair in an office complex I visit frequently. The chairs in the office complex have great lines, but they're boring beige. This house demanded more ooomph than that.
