In this shot the upholstery's a bit easier to see.

For the truly observant, that flooring may seem familiar...

... it's leftovers from the multi-hued cedar shake roofing, cut into squares, laid down on the floor and grouted, and then coated in umpteen layers of lacquer, which both darkened it (making it look quite different from the finished roofing) and gave it a nice even kitchen-y glazed tile look and feel.
