Jane... I have to admit the aging is all part of the kit.... the walls and floors are all paper... actually the wallpaper is separate from the beam "overlays".. so it's a bit tedious, you are basically doing two layers of wallpaper... but I like the way it came out... I have to do something to touch up the few places I didn't get it perfect... this kit is so much fun

I've noticed many quarter scale kits come with almost everything, which is awesome!
