Rosedale Bash (Half Scale) - landscaping

fov

The patio is made from plaster "flagstones" that I had in my stash. I added some color to them and painted the benches and columns, which were not originally gray, to match. I want to add some sort of planter in the corner where the two benches meet but haven't found the perfect one yet.

Progress pics of the patio can be found here and here.

I love it when someone tricks me into thinking its real stone. You sure tricked me. Great job.

How about a planter like the ones the pine trees are in for between the 2 benches? Or are you thinking an 'L' shaped one? I would have a tough time deciding on that as well, because there are so many ways you could make one work. You could even have it go the length of the wall to that bench with a little box out to the end of the other bench (sort of like a 'T' shaped one).

Yep, I would definitely have a hard time with that. Especially because I think you are right about putting a planter there.

Good luck.

I also think it looks like real stone! Great job. The whole set up looks great.

Thanks! I want the planter near the benches to be smaller than the ones with the pine trees. If there were a half scale version of that same square planter box it would be perfect, but I haven't been able to find one so far.

I found some resin pieces in my stash that might work but I'd want to paint them to look more like the rest of the stone and haven't had a chance yet.
