"Quilting Day"

"Quilting Day." For my mom, whose creativity and patience with hundreds or thousands of small pieces of fabric boggles my mind.

I was in charge of hand-carving and painting the figures (of wood), building all the furniture, "lighting," and other scene elements, and generally doing a lot of invention to figure out how to get the ideas in our heads into three tiny dimensions.
