Little House on the Prairie

Little House on the Prairie

“She thought to herself, "This is now." She was glad that the cozy house, and Pa and Ma and the firelight and the music, were now. They could not be forgotten, she thought, because now is now. It can never be a long time ago.”
Laura Ingalls Wilder, Little House in the Big Woods

I read a lot as a kid, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder books illustrated by Garth Williams were one of my favorite series.  Her childhood memories became part of mine, and well, part of my passion for dollhouses is trying to recapture my childhood.  Feeling like I needed yet another project (ok, not really, but it hasn't stopped me yet!) I chose something simple - a small log cabin.  I have already started working on needlepoint projects to decorate this tiny home with and will be using Mr. Williams' illustrations as inspiration for furnishing the interior.  Should be a quick project, as they kit is an "easy build" and about the size of a roombox.
