Tenement apartment

Club project made from 3 pieces of wood. 2 rectangles for back and floor, and a small wall with window and door opening.
I researched tenements mostly in New York from around the late 1800s to the mid 1900s.
Many were built on the interior of the building, with only 1 window . The window opening between the rooms was to allow the sunlight to reach the back room.
