Most of the weekend I spent painting my siding pieces. I also painted the outside trim for the windows, doors and down the edges since I'm going to be siding it. Also, I am going to add 1 1/2" to the bottom indented about 1/4 of an inch as a foundation. I never liked the idea of the house sitting flat on the table. I haven't gotten to the French doors yet nor the front doors but I've put the balcony on. The two trim pieces at the top peaks are not glued in yet. You are probably wondering why I would put the window trim and balcony on before doing the siding. Well, I would sooner work with it on than not. To me, it's very easy to work around the trim and get an exact cut than it is for me to measure. And another reason is I don't like the look of any kind of trim attached to siding, just doesn't look right to me.
