well as I was taking photos of my done Westville when I saw that I need to put 3 pairs of shutters on....but of course. <_<

oh well for all practicle purposes I am done with the build on this house.

all that is left is the decorating. which I will do at a later time.

ok some finnishing thoughts.

this is a good beginner house.

the kit goes together well. the instructions are easily followed...the exception to this is the porch. although I did manage to get it together I had a peice left over and I have no idea where it goes. but it looks like the proch on the box for the most part and this is good enough for me.

The rooms in this house are spacious. and the style of house lends to either an Elegant style or a fantasy style. which in my opinon is great.

one of my problems with shingling doesnt have anything to do with the actual act of shingling...its with all the prep work. but if you want the shingle look you have to do the prepwork.

at this point I have not put in my Windows...I put them in with the inside trim and as I have not decorated the inside I did not put them in. but I do like the way the front door turned out.

photo#1 is of the side bay the upper window will have shutters.

the other 2 pair of shutters will go on the side that I have not photoed yet.

Photo#2 is the front. the little doll was a Hobby Lobby purchase at the cash register for .99

and her dress matches this house so she now belongs to this house.

all in all if this house has caught your eye and you are wanting to do it...

goo for it...you will have a wonderful house for many years to come.
