Day 2! The foundation...

blog-0882040001420016017.jpgToday I finished cutting, sanding and priming the foundation pieces. I then did a dry-fit onto the base and found/fixed problem areas. Then I glued it all together using wood glue. I used masking tape to fit it all firmly together while it dries overnight. I am considering using small blocks of wood to reinforce the foundation. I'll decide tomorrow!

Reinforcing may be helpful. I'm a fan of it but I think the houses are designed well enough to go quite well without it.
