well, i finished the porches today, posts are secure, soffits are in, floors are down, but, not without a few problems...i had "one of those days"!!! not only did my chair kick out from under me, and i landed on the concrete awkwardly, but i had a nail from my nail gun curl right into the thumb on my left hand, and to top it all off, i put the tip of my other thumb into the blade of my table saw!!!! well, everything is fine, the cut from the saw blade will be fine, but i did have to get an antibiotic shot in the bum. seems the nail hit a joint in the thumb, very sore and stiff tonight, but hopefully i will be back at it tomorrow. not sure what i am moving on to next.....maybe some exterior trim, in preparation for siding, and i also need to decide on a window design, and start building those. i think i want some opening windows also.
