queen anne progress
well, i have most of the shell completed, just need to do the two alcoves on the right side of the house, the tower roof and reglue a couple of roof components. i ran out of glue and interest. lol. i messed up big time after making alot of progress today and had to redo a good portion of the house....i had placed the second floor on the 3rd floor and the 3rd floor on the second floor. it wasn't looking right and although it looked like of good that way, it messed everything up so I had to fix it...lol. so i removed the 3rd floor, then the second floor walls and then removed the second floor and then rebuilt the house. now it looks right...lol. the balcony would have been on the 3rd floor instead of the second. which obviously wouldn't have worked with the roof. so i took photos of the house as it is now. as far as the interior goes, i don't have any of the room dividers installed yet, just put them in place to provide support as i know the cats will do a home inspection. i'll have to play around a little and decide how i want the rooms set up and how many rooms i even want in this house. the 3rd floor ceiling height has always bothered me, so i know i will fashion some sort of attic and lower the ceiling heights. When I bought this house several years ago, i purchased a new front door for it. the one thing i've never loved about this house was the original front door. i took a photo of the original side by side with the replacement.
anyway, here are photos of the shell. this house is enormous!
