Finishing the turret windows is taking a lot of time and I'm still framing the 2nd floor, so there isn't much to show that isn't already in my gallery. So I thought I would post a list of features planned for the house since it will be years before there's anything to photograph.
Working Mahogany cabinets with lit counter tops in the kitchen.
Fully lit drop-down kitchen ceiling.
Parquet flooring throughout the 1st floor and much of the 2nd.
Mahogany paneled living room with working electrical outlets and sconch lights.
Coffered ceilings in the living room and library.
White paneled walls in the foyer, 2nd and 3rd floor landings.
4 fireplaces.
Brick oven.
18 independent circuits, allowing for the lighting of a single room or even a solitary table lamp.
Custom desk modeled after the Resolute Desk in the oval office with working desk lamp that plugs directly into the floor of the library.
Utility building attached to main house with a breezeway.
Secret wine cellar in the basement with hidden staircase from the 2nd floor library.
Bookcase door with working lock attached to a "book."
Mahogany bookcases.
Compass rose medalion feature in the library flooring, with a coffer style theme surrounding.
Roman numeral inlay designating each bookcase.
Vaulted attic ceiling with mahogany rafters.
Detachable roof with working lights.
*Possible arched bathroom ceiling (with Sistine chapel mural?)
