Nutti's Westville

Well tonight I had a sleepless night and got started on My Westville.since it went together so smoothly I didnt stop for photos till I got the first part of the shell togetherI wanted to add some tips that help me.I always read through the instructions at least twice.than I take everything out of the box.2 reasons. 1st so I can make sure I have all of the sheets mark them with a black marker so I can see easily which one Im looking for. I also keep the house parts next to me standing up. easier to thumb thru.and the 2nd reason is I like to but the shingles and the siding in the bottom of the box as I know it will be awhile before I need these parts and than the trim and roof. helps with organisation.the next thing I like to do is take the main parts and tape them together to get a look at the house. what I have done so far went together with ease.so now I must decide what color to stain the floors. I have no idea what color I have on my shelf but the floors are already asking for a light colored stain. B) these houses can be so demanding. so for my trip to Walmart I will be getting a can of Kilz spray primer and sealer. and stain for the floor. as for anything else...that is as far as I got. along with the front and back photos of my dry run I am including a photo of my work area.... when my gran was ill we took all my miniatures out of the bedroom and now I have this little bitty spot. but it worked well for the Glencroft and Im sure the Westville will get built here also.thats all for now!nutti
