Molly meets Mansfield

Molly had such a nice visit. She arrived on friday and explored the RL house meeting my 2 dogs Thumper and Ted E Bear. She thought Thumper was cool, and Thumper liked the way she smelled. The coo-koo clock made it's 4pm chime and Molly was off to find out where the sound was coming from. I turned around and she was peeping from the top and was waiting for the bird to come down. From her vantage point she spotted the dh's in the lower level. So before I could get frantic about her climbing she was off to investigate them. She met the dh people and sat down on the porch swing. Her eyes got a glazed crazy look and she began rocking wildly and making strange moose sounds. I turned to see her hanging upside down, rocking with her feet happily up in the air. She was escorted into the dollhouse shown a bed, a stuffed lamb and a blankie... out she went for the night. We assumed it was a bumpy confining trip and excused her indescressions.

Day1: The entire house slept until 11, as Heather was up crafting all night for her BFF's step son's 12th birthday party. Molly traveled with Heather to set up for a movie star party. Molly liked the popcorn from the real movie style popper. They partied, ate cake, and viewed Speed Racer. Several of the kids were acting like Molly the night before and since Molly is generally a good citizen she choose to come home and relax.

Day2: Molly was awakened by the patter of 3 year olds feet... she was embraced tightly by this young man who stays with Heather a great deal of the time. He said "good morning Molly wana get some mmmmm? Wanna go bye bye? Get your shoes and coat, you can do it, let's go". Molly soon found out the family was going out for an Amish buffet for breakfast. Heather said that after they eat they were going to tour Mansfield.

Stop 1: Richland Carrolsul Park: on the square and a landmark for our city. Molly took 3 rides on the various hand carved animals. She loved the horses the most.

Stop 2: Manfield Reformatory: the filming site of Shawshank Redemption. Designed to look like a castle, and is normally open for tours. However it is transformed into a haunted prision every October. We didn't go inside, it was too scarey for Molly and a 3 year old.

Stop3: Malabar Farm. Home to famed writer Louis Bromfield. We milked cows and picked pumpkins. It is still a working farm.

Stop 4: Home for nap time and rest for school tomorrow.

Day 3: Prospect Elementary.

Heather is an Elementary art teacher at Prospect. She brought me into school and looked for a classroom to host me for the day. Mrs. Polables 1st grade class was very happy to have Molly. They helped her to do work. She read, counted. wrote, and listened taking turns visiting with every student in turn. She brought Oreos to have for lunch. The kids didn't think that was very healthy. She even got to go out and play for recess. The kids wrote and sent off a letter to her family back home. At the end of the day they were sad to see her go.

She came back home to Heathers to pack up and be ready to travel to her next stop.

Day 4: Off to the air port (post office).

It sounds like Molly had a great time. I was exhausted reading about all the things she did. Thank you Heather.
