My Weekend was fun! I have electricity!! See the lamp lit in the living room? I've been just working on the 1st floor. I've added carpet & wallpaper since the last post. I like rather neutral colors. To finish the 1st floor and move on to the second floor, I need to hard wire in the porch carriage lights that will hang just outside the door, then I can paper the wall on inside of the door way. I also need to hard wire the logs so they will light up in the fireplace! I want to put in the windows, and do casing around the doorway from the kitchen to the dining room, and then do the molding around the floors. And then will put the second floor in to place! From Monday to Thursday this week I work and come home and take care of 3 of my grandkids, so I won't be able to be back to it till Friday... But I will be thinking about it! I'm going to get a globe light to go under the range hood. And I will have overhead lighting when the second floor is put in to place. I think the table is too big in the kitchen, I'm going to look for something else that will just seat two people.
