Well, today I pulled out my little treasure thinking how easy and quick it was going to be to build this pretty little house. However, it has turned out to be a much larger project than I imagined. What were they thinking when they made these teeny tiny kits? And why did they not include a pair of tweezers? (and why do we call them a PAIR of tweezers anyway?)

As you can see, this house has driven me to the edge of insanity! While there, I decided on my colors and now have to trek to the basement to wade through my enormous collection of acrylic paints just to find the right colors. That, my friends, should take me the rest of the evening.

Oh, and forget about applying glue with the tip of the bottle . . . oh no, it will have to be done with a toothpick . . . and lots of them!! Hmmmmm . . . I wonder if I'll have to use masking tape? That will prove interesting.

Anyway, it's time to head to the basement for paint and glue . . . I just hope the furnace monster has gone to bed for the evening . . . gulp!
