Elsbeth

The Glencroft fireplace is big enough to handle this little battery powered grate. It's an amber colored LED (cool) lit up underneath glass beads and "logs".

The light is a high end submersible florist light - pretty small, and the battery is removable. To turn it on, you have to to twist it, so the fire grate had to be something I could easily place over the light.

I love how it looks lit up. On film is looks like the flames are dancing.

Unlit looks like someone threw up tiny cherries and olives on a dead bonfire pile.

That lookks so real. I think the Glencroft has the most realistic fireplaces of all the houses. I like the way they connect to the chimney and are actually deep enough for logs. Yours looks perfect.
